How do I start?

portier ®
Load all three files on your computer and copy each of the files to a separate folder with any name and location. For example
c:\demo\portier   c:\demo\portierplan   c:\demo\interbase60
Unpack these files, to do so you need a program which can unpack WinZip archives ( f.e. WinZip ). And this is how you proceed:

For both programs, portier® and portier® plan, it is necessary to install the database server. To do this, double click in the folder Demo\Interbase! on SETUP.EXE. The installation will be done fully automatically.

To install portier® as a Demo, double click in the folder Demo\portier on SETUP.EXE. The installation assistant will guide you through the installation automatically. The demo version of portier® will be installed by default in the path C:\Program files\portier. If you selected another path then the configuration file PORTIER.INI must be edited accordingly. The first time you start you will be asked for a licence number:

At User you enter: START (in capital letters)
As a Password you enter: START (in capital letters)
portier ® plan
To instal the full version of portier® plan, you double click in the folder Demo\portierplan! on SETUP.EXE. The installation assistant will guide you through the installation automatically. The full version of portier® plan will be installed by default in the path C:\Program files\portierplan. If you selected a different path then the file PORTIERPLAN.INI should be edited accordingly.

    The new portier® will first come on the market in Dutch and German, French and English will follow.

  • Courses:
    In the programme will be included from April 2002 open courses at locations throughout Germany.
     The internal company courses which have been given up until now may of course still be booked as can the strategy days prior to using the software which are much appreciated by companies.

    The cylinder lock factory C.Ed. Schulte GmbH „CES“ is the first manufacturer of lock systems to supply its dealers and customers with the portier® and portier® plan in future. All the companies which until now had used the "Data Key“ software will be given, on the occasion of the Ironmongery Fair in March 2002, an attractive cross-update offer.
