  • The cylinder screen

    For every locking system, portier® manages all the cylinders and keys and all the associated details, all the group keys and immediately shows on any screen all the information. You can also, in addition to complex search functions (see below) respond at any time to everyday questions with a single click of the mouse. Thus, for example, the cylinder screen shows all the keys which lock here - taking into account of course central and shared key locks!


  • The key screen

    The keys themselves are managed by portier® very precisely right down to the last copy. In the key screen you immediately see where the key fits, who has or has had a copy and many other details. Each individual copy can be kept in a different place - depots can then be managed very easily. The level of authority makes clear who may receive this key, and the type of confirmation ensures security.


  • The personnel screen

    More and more companies are making use of an intranet. portier® also makes it possible to send an E-mail to key holders with a single click.


  • The retrieval screen

    If the fast information from the various screens is not enough for you - voilà: the complex search function. Link as many search functions as you wish and filter them to obtain any desired information from the database. Print lists, save the complex search function and many other things. Thanks to the interfaces to external programmes such as MS-Word and MS-Excel you have every facility for manipulating the data.

    In many houses there are bunches of keys - in portier® also. You define your bunch of keys and portier® does the rest. Naturally, in the background, portier® correctly allocates to the key holder all the information about each key.


  • The lock plan

    Are you planning an expansion of your system? In addition to the integrated ordering procedure, the lock plan will also help you in this. By the way: you decide for yourself with which letters you work within the plan, which information is shown at all and therefore exactly how the lock plan must look. Exactly as your manufacturer would like to see it - and you, of course!

    Of course, portier® takes account of centralized and shared-key locks and also same-key locks. Print? Of course, in full, in part, sections, from / to, whatever you want.


  • The user screen

    And who is allowed to do all that? You decide that yourself! And at the same time you can record exactly what everyone is allowed to do. The well-thought-out access rights system from portier® makes almost any combination possible - not least due to the extra allocation of levels of authorization to people, systems, keys and key bunches.


  • To round off the summary:

    portier® is based on a "real" client-server architecture. for you that means the best possible security and flexibility. To say nothing of speed. You even have access via the standard IP protocol to your data via an intranet or the Internet.

    The new portier® will first come on the market in Dutch and German, French and English will follow.

  • Courses:
    In the programme will be included from April 2002 open courses at locations throughout Germany.
     The internal company courses which have been given up until now may of course still be booked as can the strategy days prior to using the software which are much appreciated by companies.

    The cylinder lock factory C.Ed. Schulte GmbH „CES“ is the first manufacturer of lock systems to supply its dealers and customers with the portier® and portier® plan in future. All the companies which until now had used the "Data Key“ software will be given, on the occasion of the Ironmongery Fair in March 2002, an attractive cross-update offer.

    The decision has been taken: the new portier® 2002 will make use of a client-server architecture. The database server will be the open source Interbase 6.0.
